Cole's Baptism

Cole was baptized on Sunday April 19th at Marantha Free Lutheran Church. It was a nice baptism and it was so nice to have so many family and friends come be a part of the special day.

Cole's Godparents are Connie's brothers, Brent and Brian. It was a fun time to visit and see everyone and just a great day!

Easter 2009

We traveled to Greenbush for Easter this year. It was Cole's very first Easter. We spent Saturday together with Danny's extended family so Cole got to see his grandparents (2 sets), aunts and uncles (2 sets), and a bunch of cousins.

We stayed with Burkels as usual and went to church with them on Sunday morning. Then we headed home. It was a nice weekend.

April

Cole turned 3 months on April 3rd. What a big boy...literally : ) This month he really learned to do well on his tummy and had lots of tummy time. This made him a bit more exciting to Cooper who most of the time barely noticed Cole existed....except when he cried.

Cooper got to spend some time outside when it was nice enough. And he LOVES it. He likes to run around the entire yard (with Mom and Cole chasing him). And of course, he heads straight for the road. If not the road, then dirt or rocks.

Auntie Holly's Wedding

Auntie Holly got married on April 4th and Connie was her matron of honor. Her rehearsal was on April 3rd but only Mom and Cole got to attend. Cooper stayed home with Dad because he had a really bad cold and an ear infection.

Cooper did attend the pictures and the wedding but he was not always a happy camper. Besides feeling sick, he wasn't able to sleep much at all because of the cold. Needless to say, he could get quite cranky.

Thankfully our friend Stephanie agreed to help Danny with the boys at the wedding. Then Stephanie took Cole the reception so that Danny could take Cooper home to rest.

March Madness

I'm so sorry I haven't updated this blog in quite a while! I'm very good at posting pics on Facebook but neglect the kids' blog. I am just going to post some pics and highlights of each of the past months until I get current. I promise I'll try to get better!

Cole's 2 Month Well Visit

Cole had his 2 month well visit to the doctor on March 17. He was 10 weeks old (about 2 1/2 months). The doctor said he looked GREAT! He weighed in at 16 lbs...even bigger than Cooper was at that age! But he is longer too - 24.25 inches!



His doctor even commented on how he seems older than his age. She noticed how he can purposefully put his thumb in his mouth and was very impressed! He had to have some shots and screamed during them, but as soon as he had something to eat, he was smiling. Later that day he needed some extra cuddling but everything was o.k.

The Boys Together

Connie has been working on trying to get some pictures of the boys sitting together...but Cooper wants NO part of it!







We will keep working on it and maybe one day Cooper won't mind just SITTING next to his brother. Of course by then, Cole might not want to just SIT by Cooper :)

Adorable Cole

Since Cole is still so young, he can't "do" much....but here are some cute pictures of him.

Crazy Cooper

Cooper is learning to do new things all the time. He will not let you feed him anymore so the one day Mom and Dad decided he should try it all on his own.





Cooper is also learning to climb up on things, which is exciting and VERY scary. He LOVES boxes. Some Christmas gifts came in the mail from Grandpa Jack and Grandma Karolyn...Cooper was too excited about climbing on the box to even realize there were gifts inside!

Auntie Aimee's Visit

The day after Connie's surprise party, Aimee stopped over to visit the kids. She got to run around with Cooper and snuggle with Cole.
